Happy Wednesday to all! it's been a weird week for me, so I hope yours is going better than mine.
The Dodgers are back in action later today against the Oakland A's so I'll get you more on that when the time comes. As far as news is concerned:
-It's apparently considered a piece of news that Chad Billingsley pitched six innings in a minor leauge game recently. He was fine tuning both his mechanics and his delivery in an attempt to dethrone the ace from his probable opening day start.
-Speaking of opening day starters, Joe Torre has said that he'll make his decision on Thursday.
-Frank and Jamie McCourt continue to duke it out in the courtroom, most recently over how much Frank McCourt should pay for spousal support. Jamie claims that Frank has a spare 18 million just lying around that could be used to help her pay all her bills that are just piling up (I say this in the most sarcastic tone possible in case you hadn't already gathered).
In non-Dodgers news:
-Jose Canseco has been subpoenaed by a grand jury investigating if Roger Clemens did indeed lie about using steriods. The worst part about this? Canseco chose to announce this fact over his TWITTER ACCOUNT. That has to be the best tweet ever! "Oh just got subpoenaed by FBI who are coming to my house! LOL!"
