Beardtastic!!

Hopefully I can start posting more regularly I've just had one crazy summer.

Last night's game featured Chad Billingsley vs. Barry Zito in a 2-0 victory for the Dodgers. Bills pitched a complete game in which he had 3 K's and 125 pitches. He was also helped by the fact that the Gnats went 0-8 with runners in scoring position.
The great bearded one went yard and had an RBI to finally stop the bleeding.

The Dodgers take on the Mets next, with Hiroki Kuroda taking the mound.

Should he stay, or should he go?

And no, I'm not talking about NBA free agency.  I'm talking about Stephen Strasburg and if he should or should not be in the All-Star game.  Allow me to explain why I think that the right decision was made.

6 STARTS DOES NOT AN ALL STAR MAKE.

All-Stars and Diamondbacks

So glad to be back in town for the time being.  A lot of stuff happened but here's the most recent:

Andre Ethier and Johnathan Broxton made the all-star team! Congrats to both!

And, there was a game this afternoon which featured Chad Billingsley vs. Dan Haren.
Bills went 6 innings with 1 ER and 8 K's in what turned out to be a solid start.  Hong Chih Kuo continued his dominance pitching 2 innings with 6 K's.  En Fuego had an RBI, and Matt Kemp continued his welcome back streak by hitting the go ahead 2 run home run.

The Dodgers take on the Marlins next, with John Ely facing Nate Robertson.
